Hi Mandy Yes I did, some time ago now. The Stream and the Pocket offer full DAISY navigation, ability to play Audible books, music and Internet radio. But I personally think the new generation VRS is quicker to connect to stations. The Pocket is a much superior recorder than the VRS. But I prefer the Stream every time. I like the menu voice, and can't abide those terrible music tones the Pocket has that you can never get rid of altogether. I guess it is very subjective Mandy, everyone will have an opinion on what is better or worse when comparing these things. For me, the VRS is the best of all the DAISY players, and if I wanted to do serious recording, I would do so on an Olympus. Hi Jackie, you used to have the Plextalk pocket didn't you? Do you prefer the stream to the pocket? I'd like to know the differences because my pocket is looking a bit worse for wear and that is what I'd like to save for. Hi Pele Just to say that Audible is great on the VRS, as is OverDrive content. The latest VRS is money so well spent, a fab device. Hi Roger I have a Victor Reader Stream and really like it. I don't know about Audible, but I understand it works well. DAISY navigation is good and so is navigation for other books. Music is ok, although I believe you will get better sound from an MP3 player. You can also get internet radio and download podcasts, although Humanware are still trying to sort out some bugs with this.
