I don't know many sighted people that would want to use Talks speech actually even though the Nokia phones are aimed at sighted people. ----- Original Message ----- From: andrew shipp To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, November 22, 2013 4:12 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: The Moto G How dam stoopid this is, all phones are aimed at everyone, doesn’t mater if your vi or not, so dam silly to say. The phone is aimed at sighted users but vi users should have no problems from what I have red. Hth, Mo. That's excellent, many thanks. 1 other thing I found rather curious was that by default the phone does not come with an AC adapter, but does have a USB cable. This means you can either use another USB charger or use your pc to charge the phone. Mains chargers are very cheap these days so maybe to reduce costs and because of wireless charging support, they decided not to include one. All the best, Mo. It will be sub-200 pounds though. This is a very worthy phone for the price, has 4.3 out of the box and willhave 4.4 Kitkat on it by January 2014.I am told by Someone who already owns it that it is accessible even to thepoint of setting it up with no sight, so Motorola haven't skinned it thatmuch either. It is almost a pure Google phone. It is not 4G compatible, though for the price, this is to be expected.Well worth a look. All the bestSteve--Computer Room Services77 Exeter CloseStevenageHertfordshireSG1 4PWTel: +44(0)1438-742286Mob: +44(0)7956-334938Fax: +44(0)1438-759589Email: steve@xxxxxxxxxxx.ukWeb: http://www.comproom.co.uk-----Original Message-----From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On BehalfOfRichard KingSent: 21 November 2013 11:21To: access-ukSubject: [acces s-uk] The Moto GI think that Android is definately worthy of consideration over Appleat the moment, I have heard that Google are about to launch a newhandset since taking over Motorola Mobile, called the Moto G. And theword is it will retail in the UK for £135, a fraction of the cost ofan iPhone. I have no idea of how good the phone is though, but will belistening closely before upgrading from my iPhone 4s next year.** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:-** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe]** If this link doesn't work then send a message to:** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx** and in the Subject line type** unsubscribe** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the** immediately-following link:-** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq]** or send a message, to** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx wit h the Subject:- faq** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:-** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe]** If this link doesn't work then send a message to:** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx** and in the Subject line type** unsubscribe** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the** immediately-following link:-** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq]** or send a message, to** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:-** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe]** If this link doesn't work then send a message to:** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx** and in the Subject line type** unsubscribe** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the** immediately-follow ing link:-** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq]** or send a message, to** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:-** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe]** If this link doesn't work then send a message to:** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx** and in the Subject line type** unsubscribe** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the** immediately-following link:-** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq]** or send a message, to** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
