Hi Ibrahim, I'm also having prob with obtaining a readable manual for my NP-700. Any chance you could track one down for me? Thanks, Richard _____ From: access-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Ibrahim Gucukoglu Sent: 18 November 2012 16:37 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: Sighted help please.. Samsung website Hi David. Getting anything out of Samsung is often a case of getting through to the right department. The Laptops, their documentation and support resources all come out of Korea and so it is to the technical engineers at the Samsung HQ which can supply PDF manuals. I've managed to get manuals out of Samsung before, if you send me the model of your Samsung laptop I can make contact with their Korean engineers who will supply one in the appropriate format for you. All the best, Ibrahim. From: David Mellor <mailto:mrd.mellor@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, November 18, 2012 4:31 PM To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: Sighted help please.. Samsung website Sorry... I can't do anything with this exe manual file either. I have nagged Samsung about it once but it was one of a number of questions I asked in the same email which is never a good idea. The first gets answered, the rest ignored. That's often the way with any tech support. I will try again. Samsung website David, I have also downloaded the manual for my Samsung laptop from this page. Thank you for the URL. I'd be interested to know if you've managed to make any sense from the resulting file. All I can find using Jaws is a great many buttons and a very small amount of text, mainly chapter headings. I'm not sure if a browser plug-in is required to make sense of the manual, but it's certainly not much use as it is, so if you've had any luck, please let me know. Thanks, Caroline. _____ From: access-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of David Mellor Sent: 02 November 2012 18:53 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Sighted help please.. Samsung website Hi everyone. I have found a really annoying page on Samsung's website, trying to get to a page where manuals and drivers for a laptop can be downloaded. The URL is: http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/download/supportDownloadMain.do#content I select PC and then Notebook from the first two drop down menus and then get a 1000 long list of models. Hitting tabs jumps down to the button at the end of the list. My model is on the third page, the: np3-350v5c-a02 With NVDA, hitting enter, control enter, insert enter, insert control enter or moving the mouse pointer to the selected entry with insert numpad-divide and left mouse clicking with numpad-divide all seem to do nothing. Can anyone provide any sighted help to get passed this part to the page I need?
