I would be interested if someone knows a good wi.fi printer that can be used by
a blind person though I do not want one that has scanner and Fax capability.

Carol

A month or so ago I bought an Epson BX 256FWD
It is an colour inkjet printer/copier/scanner/fax unit with a quite small desk
profile.
I needed some sighted help to install it and learn the front panel, but at C.
£107 was a good price for low usage (considering the cost of the replacement
cartridges). It has multiple colour cartages.

Per chance, I have heard of another VI person who is using one.

Subject: [access-uk] PARALLEL TO USB CONVERTER?

Hi all,

Well, My old desktop has, at least for the moment, given up working and I
need to use my parallel printer. My laptop only has a USB option so, can I
get a converter at a reasonable price? If so, any details would be most
welcome.

In addition, if I need to go for a new printer, as I have WiFi in the house,
should I consider a WiFi or USB connection printer? It would be good to
have details, please, of any models which you really like and are fully
useable for a totally blind person.

Thanks.
