I don’t think you can add additional places at the moment, you can add
reference points though so you could add a reference point close to the
landmark you want however it’s not quite the same. I’m hoping that in a future
update there will be a facility to add your own points of interest i.e. beacons
and share them in the community. That would make this a truly superb
orientation aid!

it tends to be that the more you pay the better the sound, but as you said
if you only want it for speech and not music i find theres not a lot of
difference between various makes.
it's more a case of which style you prefer and wether you want them to be
indiscreet.
there are over the head models, ones that go around the back of your neck,
ones that are built into glasses frames that can have clear, tinted, or
prescription lenses, and ones that are built into a baseball style cap.
personally i'm not keen on the ones that go over the top of the head, but of
the ones that go around the back of the neck i have both aftershokz and
panasonic both of which are good but the panasonic are better plus they have
replaceable batteries.
one of my favourites is the baseball style cap as no one even knows you are
wearing a headset and on this style the transducers are placed above and
behind the ears instead of the norm being infront of the ears, plus they
even sell replaceable transducers of different strengths so they can be used
by people with hearing problems.
this company even have a cap that also has stereo microphones built into the
cap so that people with hearing problems can put it into a special mode
whereby the cap listens to and enhances the ambient sounds and send it to
the transducers similar to wearing hearing aids.
zungle is one make of bone conduction glasses and although they work ok how
well they work i think would depend on how well they fit the shape of a
persons head as the transducers are built into the ends of the arms.
this may also apply to another pair of glasses that are coming out shortly,
they originally called them vision AI glasses but seem to have changed the
name to Let glass.
these are a pair of smart bone conduction glasses that are Siri, Google Now,
and Alexa compatible and can be controlled by voice,gestures, or by touch.
the aftershokz and panasonic models you can find in online stores.
the baseball style caps and the different strength transducers you can
