I have no idea about the bone-conducting headphones. I'm hoping someone can
recommend which ones they think are the best. They won't be used for music
so I am wondering whether the cheaper ones would do.

It's started to snow quite hrd here this morning but if we visit my
mother-in-law this afternoon (when we'll be in the car), I might try this
app out to see how it works on the move and where I don't have to worry
about using either headphones or the air buds.

I only tried it with the air buds as well but wouldn't use them when I was
out on my own because they obviously take away hearing so I must get some
bone-conducting ones but haven't really got a clue whether to get the
expensive ones or whether the cheaper ones will do.

I ws given the Airbuds for Christmas and am very pleased with them but had
resolved not to use them outdoors as I feared that if one fell out, I'd have
difficulty finding it.
I downloaded the app this evening and was very impressed. It offered me
several locations near me, including letterboxes.
We've been promised snow tomorrow but if I go out with my husband, I might
try this app out in the car using my air buds.

Got it. I have been waiting for the app as I know the person who is helping
microsoft and guide dogs test it so I heard about it ages ago. It does
sound really weird when the voices are coming from either side of you or
behind you. Now I need to know which bone conducting headphones to buy. Is
it worth paying top price for them when they aren't used for music?
