I have found out since that you can't downgrade, because it verifies itself 
with Apple's servers.

True, but redsn0w only supports up to v6.0 and 
the downgrade is only for a4 processors so up to 
iphone4 only.  if your shsh blob is above v6.0 
then it doesn't work, i know i've tried it with my shsh blob for 6.1.3.
Ifaith is supposed to be able to do the downgrade 
but i found this program inaccessible using window 7 and jaws 12 or nvda.
