Hi eleanor. The all mail folder displays every single email that is on your account. Its gmails way of grouping everything together as a backup until you empty your trash folder. It combines all your folders in 1 view. I would unsubscribe from the all mail folder if you are subscribed to it. Whenever i set gmail up for people i unsubscribe from that folder as there is no point showing it. Look for an option called imap folders and untick all mail. Hth, Mo.
