Yes, that's a good idea, though I haven't done it so far. If you don't, you sometimes get in it by mistake and slow everything down to a crawl while the messages are selected and shown. The all mail folder displays every single email that is on your account. Its gmails way of grouping everything together as a backup until you empty your trash folder. It combines all your folders in 1 view. I would unsubscribe from the all mail folder if you are subscribed to it.
