As far as I know, it should be just the power button on its own, have you tried 
that?

Hi to all.  Thanks to you all for your different suggestions.  Holding down the 
power button and the exit button just below the down arrow still does nothing.  
It isn't the persons fault who sold me this player, but I feel as if I'm out 
$90.  The player is just sitting and pressing all these different button 
combinations isn't working unless I can find the correct one.  I wonder if 
hooking it up to the computer would do anything?

Hello to all.  I held down the power and record buttons at the same 
time for around a minute and nothing happened.  Is there a certain way  
I need to do this sequence?  The record button is the button just to 
the left of the power button?  Thanks.  This is so frustrating.

When some button is held down, a red light comes on.  I will hold

Hi,

You could try pressing both the power on button and the record 
button together and keep them pressed until the device starts up again.

It wil say that the time is not correct but this wil right itself..
