Feel for the contacts. Then feel the ends of the battery and match the
contacts in the radio to the holes in the battery. insert the battery
against the contact holes and push firmly in to place. that's about as
much as I can describe via email unfortunately... imagine you're
inserting a battery in to a mobile phone. its not that flimsy, you
should be fine.
