I agree,   I use dab and love it,   but agree that the bod rate is a bit
low but I listen to only speech being a radio ham I am used to narrow
sounding speech and as I say or rather you said you get more stations on
dab.

Hi Steve,
Tried FM and DAB in cars? I have, and I think DAB is clearar. And can certainly access more stations, as well. I played with an auto scan, found about 60 stations on it. Thought it was never going to end.

Hi Mo,

I셝 probably use it on FM more than DAB to be honest. FM is higher quality if you have a good signal.

All the best

Hi alison and jackie.

The interesting thing about this radio is that it seems to support dab Plus for when you're in europe as well as FM, so goodmans seem to have you covered on all fronts. FM reception is not bad at all considering.

Cheers,,

Mo.

Hi Alison

I agree. The DAB signal in our area is quite poor, so it will be interesting for me to determine just how good this radio is at getting one. I think DAB is very over-rated personally, but I like to listen to the news and sport when I am away, and just having a small radio to turn on quickly is more convenient sometimes.

Kind Regards,

I only hesitate because when I bought my husband a portable DAB radio a couple of years ago, he could get so few stations.

The Government had originally planned to withdraw the FM Service (I think by 2015) but they need to do a lot more about signal boosting and most people I know still listen to FM radio rather than DAB.
