Also, not everyone has the money for sky or to get a  dish installed! We
have one, but a lot of our friends don't.

having something like this radio.  Yes you can stream, but there are
situations where you can't do that easily either, so if all you want is a

Hi,

 

Because DAB is very low quality compressed crap.  I can get better quality
on my Sky box.  The bandwidth on DAB is too low to take it seriously.

I only hesitate because when I bought my husband a portable DAB radio a
couple of years ago, he could get so few stations.

The Government had originally planned to withdraw the FM Service (I think by
2015) but they need to do a lot more about signal boosting and most people I
know still listen to FM radio rather than DAB.
