Hi Eleanor. Which do you prefer? Jaws or Supernova? I'm finding that people are
now having a second screen reader which is a good idea. I have System Access as
my prime screen reader and then Jaws as my backup. Oh I have NVDA on a flash
drive along with System Access on a U3 drive. that is a healthy selection on my
computer.

Now I am not sure about this John, I have Jaws and Supernova and I have daniel
with both but whether or not he would work with this then I do not know. I
also have Daniel (I think) on my mobile phone. Would this mean I could play it
on my mobile phone? Have you ever tried?

Hi Eleanor, you'd only need to buy a voice if you didn't have one already. If
you've got voices already you wouldn't need to buy any. When I bought text
aloud 3 years ago I'd initially gone to nextup to buy Daniel. They wouldn't let
me buy Daniel unless I bought text aloud. I thought at the time that was a bit
of a scam, but it's turned out to be a useful little program.
                      John.

What about if one has daniel already from another software?

Hi Barbara, yes, you need to buy any additional voices. I bought Daniel
from them. I think it cost me about 30 quid. They also do cheaper voices I
think, but I didn't find them as good.
One nice thing about text aloud is that you don't have to pay for
upgrades. Once you've bought it that's it.
                          John.

        Hi John

Many thanks for this info. I've downloaded it and got it working a
treat with no access problems whatsoever. I only have the Sappy 5 Sam voice at
the minute. If you have purchased the full version, do you get additional
voices, or do you have to pay extra for more voices? Sam is okay for short
files, but I think if I had to listen to him for any length of time I might
want to punch him!

Hi Barbara, Text Aloud. You can find it at www.nextup.com.
                              John.

            Hi All

I need to do something either for free or for a small cost.

I have some MS Word notes for a student. The student has requested
them in audio format. How can I do this?
