Hi Andy,

I'm guessing the tutorial didn't start in that podcast because it wasn't the
first time VoiceOver had been activated.
The command you will require if this occurs is control + option +command + F8.
This may seem like a long commend, but all are not as cumbersome.

Both control and option are beside one another and they are located beside
command.
Like windows keyboards F8 is the ninth key from the left on the top row of
keys.

You may find this link useful, although you may have already visited it:
http://www.apple.com/accessibility/voiceover/

My personal recommendation would be to go for the macbook Air with the greatest
battery life, but that's only because I prefer longer lasting batteries.

Kind regards,

Niall
