We are looking to change the naming conventions that we use for PC's.
Right now we name them with the department name and a number (ex: for
our Accounting Dept- acct4, acct5, etc.). It was recommended to us that
we should change our naming convention for security reasons. I wanted to
know what convention others are using....

I'm just using serial numbers right now, but if you have a large environment, many people have good luck with naming them by locations. I.E. Bldg15Flr2Rm12Mach1

What's keeping you from getting more from your terminal servers? Did you know, in

them. SAVE MONEY by scaling-up rather than buying more servers.
