SAV in TS charge per *user*. To have a legal licence for 1 server with
100 users, you pay 100 licences.I suspect this is tru of other vendors
if you questions them closely. Ignorance may be bliss on this one.=20

SAV charges per seat, be it a client or a server. You want to run on 30
servers, you need 30 licenses. I think the same applies to Blades,
because they are still individual machines.

We always recommend Trend Micro Server Protect because over the last =
=3D3D
several years it has been the least invasive on Terminal Servers.
However, when =3D3D you are doing something like 30 blades, you want to =
=3D
look into a corporate edition like Symantec. If I understand it right,
if you buy the =3D3D corporate edition you can use it on any number of
servers. I don't know if Trend offers the same thing, last time I looked
they charged per server.....

Ummm.... we have Symantec NAV 8.0 on our Citrix Servers. Is there =3D3D
something I should know Jim?

It's what we use corporate wide, so that's why I loaded it on our Citrix
servers. My biggest worry was utilization which it doesn't suck too =
=3D3D
much of, what else should I be considering/watching?

Thanks for any advice.

Attention experts,

Can you tell me the best AV strategy for a Citrix farm of around 30 =
=3D3D
blades. There is already workstation AV and a general corporate server
AV =3D3D strategy.

We need minimum hit on the servers etc etc...

TIA
