First,  SANs don't exist for Citrix servers... So bringing in a SAN for non
citrix servers is not a waste.   Second,  HBAs, Switch Ports(which are not
cheap) and software node licenses have to be purchased above and beyond what
already exists.  It's not all about disk space/shelf space.  Some one has to
set all that up and mantain it...  Then there are support contracts and
renewals for the addtional HW and software.

Again, there are cheaper alternatives to a SAN to accomplish the same
thing... Even if an existing SAN exists...

Your going to be using that space one way or the other otherwise it's a complete waste of money bringing in the SAN. The costs for SAN are there one way or the other. Presentation Server doesn't add or take away from that.
