Yeah its great. Not a TON of new features, but the boot from san is sweet,
and the bug fixes and improved hyper threading support are hot too.

Dear VMware customer,

We are pleased to announce that VMware(R) ESX Server(TM) Version 2.5
and VMware VirtualCenter Version 1.2 are now available.  The new
versions contain significant improvements over the previous releases.
We strongly encourage all users to review the release notes and
upgrade when convenient.

ESX Server 2.5 improves upon ESX Server 2.1.x, and includes the
following:

 - Boot directly from storage area networks (SANs)
 - Expanded virtual machine storage options using Raw Device Mappings 
   (RDMs)
 - Added support for scripted ESX Server installations
 - Added support for creating disaster recovery backups of virtual 
   machines
 - Expanded ESX Server hardware support
 - Expanded ESX Server guest operating system support
 - Experimental Common Information Model (CIM)-compliant API and object 
   Model for virtual machines and related storage devices
 - Resolved issues & bug fixes
 - Documentation updates

VirtualCenter 1.2 improves upon VirtualCenter 1.1.1, and includes the
following:

 - Additional support for the ESX Server 2.5 release

 - New features in the Web service SDK including GSX Server(TM) support
 - Extra logging for security auditing
 - Additional performance improvements
 - Updated SNMP support
 - Resolved issues & bug fixes
 - Documentation updates
