[texbirds] Blucher Park Bird Walks

Dear Texbirders,

Thirty-one birders turned out for this morning's walk at Blucher Park.  The 
park was fairly birdy with 10 species of warblers, both tanagers and 45 species 
overall.  The walks will continue on the next two Saturdays and Sundays.

Thanks to Karen Smith and John Shreves for hosting.

The highlights included:

Mississippi Kite
Franklin's Gull (large kettles overhead)
Chuck-Will's-Widow (several and easy to see)
Great-crested Flycatcher
Couch's Kingbird
Red-eyed Vireo
Blue-winged Warbler
Nashville Warbler
Yellow Warbler
Black-and-White Warbler (several)
Prothonotary Warbler
Ovenbird
Northern Waterthrush
Hooded Warbler
Yellow-breasted Chat
Summer Tanager
Scarlet Tanager 
Rose-breasted Grosbeak
Indigo Bunting (numerous brilliant males)
Painted Bunting
Orchard Oriole
