Dear Texbirders,
Blucher Park was pretty birdy this morning. It started off very windy behind
the rain which had just moved through, but by mid morning the wind was calm and
the sun out.
We had 26 visitors and a total of 53 species, including 12 species of
warblers. The best birds were a Whip-Poor-Will, a very late Hermit Thrush and
several Wormeating Warblers. A complete list of migrants is at the end of the
post.
The walks continue tomorrow and every Saturday and Sunday through April.
Thanks to John Shreves and Madalyn and Phyllis Yochem for hosting.
