I use a Pace Solder station model MBT250. It has heated tweezers for
removing caps and resistors, solder sucker with various size tips, S/M IC
heater with various size square and rectangular tips to fit different IC's,
but I still like the old fashion way of removing flat pack IC's by solder
braid and hot air torch with a small wire slid under the pins and pull
outward as heat pins with torch. Think we paid @ $1000 usd for it.
