I am wondering if the change in policy is because of Bush's current
visit to Canada.  I hope it reverts back to normal after he leaves!

Saw an item on the news a while back that there is a 4 to 6 week backlog

  in customs checking at Vancouver.
These days they check every parcel going both ways in case someone tries

to ship an atomic bomb. Used to only check a random sampling.
