Come come paul, I am sure some people validate fixed time systems in the
=3D
same manner as VA, SCOOT anmd MOVA are regularly validated ?

The same type of operation is in use in many places, but it requires
fixed
time operation, while we use SCOOT, MOVA and VA. Is that the way we =3D
should
go? Personally I do not think so.

SCOOT and MOVA in particular do respond to the current traffic, not to =
=3D
some
single day count taken in the distant past.

This seems similar to a proposal put to me from Wales Assembly
Government
for a count down timer (supplier unknown) that displayed secs until
green
man appeared. They were going to trial but I don't know if it was ever =
=3D
done.
However my concern was it could only every work on a fixed time site as
if
on VA, SCOOT etc how would it know when changes were going to occur and
start to time down?
