Thanks for the response. Tactiles are fitted, were fitted before the
bleep and sweep !. Bleep and sweep added by previous manager after much
local pressure. Now claim they can't always get to the tactiles due to
increased numbers crossing, suggested they assert/excuse themselves.
Explained it is a non-standard expensive additional feature. Only two in
the county both as it turns out installed at the insistance of this
group. Didn't like the suggestion, want something doing now before one
of them is injured/killed following a couple of near misses. Talk of
papers, Cllrs, MPs etc., you know the situation.
