Hi Graham, First, put Eloquence back, the new version that is. This is important for Talks 5, as the audio subsystems have changed. Second, go into Talks, Options, Audio Settings, Speaker, or Headset, depending on what you use, and change the speech delay to 0. You will now find it very snappy. Change both speaker and headset settings if you use a Bluetooth earpiece, or cable headset. All the best Steve -----Original Message----- From: talks-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:talks-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Graham Page Sent: Tuesday 6 April 2010 05:40 To: talks-uk@Freelists. Org Subject: [talks-uk] delays with new eloquence and talks Hi all. Not sure if this has been covered before but I have a Nokia N82 and have recently upgraded from Talks 3 to Talks 5. I find the newest version of Eloquewnce quite slow, particularly when sending text messages so I downgraded Eloquence to version ending in 117 rather than 123. I have found it much faster over all. Anyone else had this problem?
