Hi listers, I used the Nokia TTS speech engine to install; bluetoothed the Talks and Eloquence files to the phone, installed Talks and then Eloquence without uninstalling Talks. No problems at all <Smile>. I am thinking as I type a bit here but I suppose another alternative could be to send the talks and eloquence files to the phone as bluetooth messages before uninstalling talks. Did you install Eloquence before Talks? I assume if you just install Talks on its own it will use the nokia voices. My experience is very different although the route to it was different to and may be relevant. I'm finding that Talks5 with the latest Eloquence is now snappier than it has ever been on my N82. I'm happy with the upgrade for this alone. To be honest, I never really thought it was sluggish in the past, but the performance since the upgrade has been impressive, including in text message sending. What happened to me in the upgrade though was unusual. I installed in the usual way but lost speech at the end. I was able to verify that TALKS was not even loading at startup, something I've never had before followingn upgrade. In the end, I removed TALKS altogether and installed from scratch and now its flying! And no, its not because I changed the install location from memory card to phone: that was my first thought and I went to double-check I'd not done this inadvertently. Good luck and all the best, Neil ----- Original Message ----- From: "Graham Page" <gpage@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <talks-uk@Freelists.
