Dave,
Just tried it with 13 bars divided among two systems. When I put
expressions on all downbeats of bars 1-13 and select starting at bar 1. I
had seven selected expressions. However, I could not expand the selection.
So, I think you have to start over.
BTW, I did succeed in installing Sib-Access in JAWS 10 by simply copying the
JAWS folder. No other steps seem to be needed.

Not sure you've followed the thread. I've already selected 12 through 16
using the Ctrl-Shift-A keystroke as Dan describes in his scenarios at the
bottom of this message. I'm asking how to select other system sections once
I've done that.
Here's what Dan wrote about the contextual behavior of Ctrl+Shift+A:
"If an item which is not a note or rest is selected then every item of that
type will be selected on the current staff but in the current system only."
