[SI-LIST] Re: Which tool is the best

I have worked with Hyperlynx for over two years and the best way I have
heard it described is that it is a great SI tool for the engineer who
doesn't use it every day. In other words, it may not be the most
powerful or feature rich tool, but it is relatively simple to use and I
have found that this quality is extremely important when you work on
numerous parts of a design and SI is only one part of it. I will
generally use it for a few weeks or a month and then not use it for
another month or two, so being able to come back up to speed is of great
value and I have to say that we are pleased with the feature set of
Hyperlynx. I can't give a good comparison to other tools, but we are
pretty happy with Hyperlynx (with the HSPICE back end) for our
development.
