Micky, That's not fair. She commented that her dogs were both show dogs and performance dogs like VA/ScH 3. I merely said she had very nice dogs but the one dog I saw with advanced performance titles did not have a AKC Championship. So, my point was that I hardly ever see CH dogs with upper performance titles like some of the German dogs. The argument I hear is that the AKC Ch dogs are not sound enough to get advanced performance titles because of their deformed hind end. They said it is more physically demand and that's why they can't do it because their hind ends hold them back. I am hearing this from my com. obedience instructor; fellow obed. students; and other non-GSD people. So, I was just pointing out to her that her argument saying her dogs are similar to dogs that achieve a high conformation rating AND hold a advanced performance title might not be valid. The "just sayin" was to keep it light and show her that it was not said with any meanness. I was trying to be diplomatic. I wish breeders would get advanced performance titles as it would shut up all the naysayers. The argument I hear is that the dogs could do it but the owners don't have the time. And..I am like...none of the owners..not one has the time? That's all. I did say she had nice dogs. What do you want from me??
