Pat Nah...there's a difference in a dog runnin' scared and one who is clamoring to get to their double handler. In the specialty ring, if you only have one person doubling and "mom or dad" is often right by the gate ringing bells or blowing a whistle. Judges know that. If they follow/track the dog all the way around on the individual, as the dog starts off, they get another view of the dog going away, up the side of the ring, if there aren't a number of doublers, they'll see the dog on a somewhat loose lead and get to see if they fall apart, if their loin is loose, back wobbly, if they are locked and/or lifty, then once they turn the corner toward the (out)gate their ass end drops, there is usually enough "umph" that a handler can camouflage back issues and it's hell bent for leather.
