Hi Janice..and thank you for your input. here is my reasoning for my
comments about the GSDSCA site. Probably the most visited portions of the
site by non-members is the breeder directory..of course viewed mostly by
prospective buyers...after that many non-members..some on the List..like to
research pedigrees etc...much goes into this..also..show results are
important to many..even non-members..we are trying to encourage folks to
join the PC...even as an associate member...(which would be a nominal
membership fee and more like a donation) ..is not worth a nominal fee to
view? perhaps a compromise would be for non -members to be able to view the
results after a certain time period...however current wins for the
year..would not be access able to non-members..and the pedigree information
section should not be accessible by non-members. I want there to be "perks:
for membership..giving all information diminishes the value of
membership...why join?..what is the old saying "Why buy the cow if you can
get the milk free!.." C.Grainger
