Hi Sara,
The temperament test is already required for the CHIC. Only the TC counts even
though the TC and the TT are about the same tests. TheCHIC requirements were
recently changed to make it easier for GSD's to complete the requirements

I have a few comments regarding health and the showdog.....
1)Do you think the time has come to change the CHIC requirements to include
additional tests like cardiac and thyroid and, particularly, DM?
2)How would you feel allowing either a TT or a TC for the CHIC requirement (as
TTs are easier for people to attend due to the fact they test in many
locations)?
3)How would you feel about starting a voluntary health database where we can
track longevity, health issues (like mega e or DM)? I found one that is geared
to goldens and labs that looks really fantastic: http://www.k9data.com/. I also
saw something similar with the white German shepherds that tracks health issues
like cancer, bloat, allergies, etc: http://www.wsgenetics.com/
4) Is there a better way to track members of the 13 club so that one can look
at a pedigree and know that a dog is a member of the 13th club (maybe highlight
the name)? I don't even see a place on the website where they are all listed...
