Richard, NO! I left out Graflex, as they did not make a solenoid for the Rollei. I only included those manufacturers who made synchronizer solenoids for the Rolleis. Graflex made great solenoid for the speed graphics, even if they were only used to trip the shutter from the battery case. I used them with Synchro-Supermatic shutters with flashbulbs and strobes (as we called electronic flash) Jerry Richard Knoppow wrote: > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Jerry Lehrer" <jerryleh@xxxxxxxxxxx> > To: <rollei_list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Wednesday, January 12, 2005 3:03 PM > Subject: [rollei_list] Re: OT: Question re shutter CLA and > Ronsonol > > > Richard, > > > > The "SLOT" that Ardy was talking about was for a lever to > > have > > the shutter actuated by a flash synchronizer solenoid. > > Heiland > > made them as did Abbey, King Sol and Mendelsohn. > > > > Now, how many people remember those names? > > > > Jerry > > > The front of one of the two Old Standard Rolleiflex's I > cobbled together to get a working camera (thanks to Todd) > was modified for a solenoid synchronizer.
