I use a Bogen 3297 4x4" plate on a 3039 head.
The Arca plate is a bit small to accommodate the Sinar's rail clamp.
Mine came with an Arca plate mounted on it.
I had a good laugh when I saw it, and promptly took it off.
When it comes to view cameras, I've never been comfortable with ballheads.
On the other hand, I don't mind a ball head with a TLR or a 6000 body.

Hi Slobodan,

Do you have a quick release plate on your Sinar? All my 35mm and 120 equipment has QR plates that fit an Arca B1 ball head, but I'm wondering if a QR plate makes sense for the Sinar or even whether a ball head makes sense?

All this 4x5 talk has reminded me to get a set of bellows clips for
my Sinar.
I couldn't agree more about using the best possible film.
As with equipment, there are no short cuts with film.
