Elias, the oval looks different with the cross
regarding the previous iamge and it seems the shutter
blades reflection, as Richard K suggested, despite the
flare has 4 blades only,it never happened to me with
the 2.8C, these are some samples with the 2.8C about
direct shots against the sun with the sun in the frame
(please the largest size):

I have samples with the 3.5F Planar too and I couldn't
see something rare in the shots.-
