Argh.  Am I the one screaming into the Biblical
desert?  DEFINE TERMS.  I suppose that ANR meanis
"anti Newton Rings"/  Why not spell it out for
those of us who are hard of thinking?  Precision
is everything. Obfuscation is mush.

You an me both, brother. I was taught that in technical writing to define every abreviation the first time its used and to provide a table of definitions. Hardly anyone does that any more making some technical literature painful to read. The insruction manuals for the equipment at work are great "bad" examples as is much television technical literature.
