You can find a list of area launches at:
http://aiaaocrocketry.org/?page_id=326 - it should be reasonably accurate but
may contain some errors so be certain to check the club's launch calendar
before counting on any of the dates. And the weather for those launch sites
can be found at http://aiaaocrocketry.org/?page_id=1101 . Let us know if you
find errors, or would like it expanded in any way and we'll try to accomodate.
We originally put the list together for events with a deadline such as TARC and
SLI - and expanded it a bit today.

A SoCal launch calendar be awesome! I've really liked this particular thread
as I've learned about a lot more launches than I already knew about. I'll
still haunt my "regular" launches but when I have out of town guests I might
hit one of these alternatives if they fit in with scheduling better.
In fact, I like it so much I might get a new domain and build a web page for
it. If someone else wants to do it before I get to go ahead but if I don't see
it "soon" I might take on the task. (The definition of "soon" is intentionally
left very vague, probably summer time some time.)

Hi all...
On the assumption that May's ROC launch will be scrubbed due to the
current legal issue, can anyone point my son and me to other launches that will
be happening in the coming weeks, within say...6 or so hours of Los Angeles? He
has a senior year project that he needs to wrap up, and needs another launch
day or two to accomplish it.
