Here is one trick.Drill it out by hand, not using a machine drill, at a diameter smaller than the threads. Then pick out the threads. I have a jeweller's drill that you twirl by hand (I can't remember what they are called).

If you can't find an extractor small enough you may also be able to just drill it out; just need to be careful of the threads. You may also need tojust drill it out and rethread the hole for a slightly larger screw.
