Depends on the size of the screw.
Normally one would drill a second hole down the screw, and use a
back-out tool (screw extractor).

Camera screws tend to be small.
Is this screw in a thin plate? Can it be driven all the way through,
and picked up "on the inside", rather than be backed out?
How large in diameter is the screw?

I have a screw on my tachihara view camera that is stripped and I
can't get it out. I need to get it out to replace it. It's one of the
screws that attaches the lens so it's important. How do you remove a
stripped screw?
