Use 21-22ml of the 37% concentrate per 4L water.  That will give you 8 gm.
To be precise, use 21.62 ml of the bisulfite lye.  It has 0.37gm bisulfite
per ml.

Saturated solutions are good ways to keep easily oxidized solutions. I use a
saturated solution of Na sulfite (about 28%) to add to various developers,
washes and fixes when I need them so I don't have to weigh out the dry
stuff.
