You might need to install the .NET SDK to use the command line compiler csc.exe. I read somewhere that the SDK is required, but I've never installed any SDK package on my Windows 7 machine. So I guess the SDK tools is included with windows 7 or that newer versions of the framework bundles with the dev tools as well. -----Original Message----- From: programmingblind-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:programmingblind-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Øyvind Lode Sent: 7. mai 2010 23:55 To: programmingblind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: C# Compilers The .Net framework includes a command line compiler called csc.exe. I use it all the time. C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v3.5\csc.exe for the .NET Framework version 3.5. Another option is to use a complete IDE like Visual C# 2008 Express which includes all you need for C# development. -----Original Message----- From: programmingblind-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:programmingblind-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of John J.
