Hi Cristy, have you considered one of the USB flash drives. A 1 Gig one can be purchased for less than $100 or a USB external hard drive in the 40 gig size for a similar price. you could use it to transfer files and take files with you for use on other= computers. I am actually combining files and having to go through them one by one after I have them on one computer, I did research using both computers and now am cleaning up my mess, ridding of dups and all. I wont use two again for researching like that. I will= find a better method of storing files. cristy ----- Original Message ----- From: "D.Bailey" <minoddy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, August 21, 2005 6:44 PM Subject: -=3DPCTechTalk=3D- Re: cd-rw question.. I mean, take hard drive from comp B and put into comp A, copy needed files from the hard drive from comp B to the hard drive of comp A. Then when thats done, take comp B's hardrive back out of comp A and insert it back into comp B. I didn't mean leave it in there and take it home with you ;) cheers Darryl cristy wrote: Because one will be going with me in a week or so to my other place.
