its like having a portable drive. and works just like a HDD when plugged in the USB - no software req'd you can add, delete, cut, paste what ever and they come in various sises - I found a 512 memorex at the diollar store - yep never go there until a friend w/o a computer that does saw them there and it cost me $0.99 I bought both of them!
