Hi Rick ..Scott . I am not a Guru either and know far less than Rick. In my opinion , what is good for one computer is not always good for the other computer. Computers are Female ..... unpredictable and change their minds every 5 minutes. As I always say, " To each, their own." Anyhow, it's nice to have good conversation here. That way we all can learn something. Thanks again, Happy computing. That was odd in that it kept appearing after several different types of scans. Then, I think it was Sir Troth suggested that the problem could exist in the SR files. I disabled them, restarted, and reenabled the SRfiles, and have had no problem since. AVAST gave me instant problems, so I revertd to AVG. Say what you will, but I won't be influenced. One other thing is that some AV progs build into their structure the ability to tell the innocent that they have just cleaned a virus which may not have been. I don't know the truth of any of this - I am not a guru, but my experience is that AVG is tops, and free. I'll stick with it.
