Robert, The server has 4 databases running on it. Other three databases RMAN backup works fine. Surprisingly, archive logs backup is okay, single datafile or set of tables, single tablespace or set of tablespaces backup also run without any problems. The problem comes when trying to backup complete database. Jaffar On 6/25/07, Robert Freeman <robertgfreeman@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:
Can you do an OS level Veritas backup (Without RMAN) from that machine? I agree that this sounds like it could be some sort of firewall issue. If you can not do a normal OS veritas backup, this would seem to indicate a Veritas configuration issue, including firewall blockage.
