RE: RMAN error (ORA-19502)

Can you do an OS level Veritas backup (Without RMAN)
from that machine? I agree that this sounds like it
could be some sort of firewall issue. If you can not
do a normal OS veritas backup, this would seem to
indicate a Veritas configuration issue, including
firewall blockage.
