Sorry, nonsense. The modulation scheme does not even have to appear in the advertizing, and it hardly shows up in the parts list. The delta compared with selling DVB-T is nil. As things are today, with no advertizing at all, the ATSC products still sell out (mostly because way understocked).

That's obvious, Bob. Was the analog FOTA system wildly successful BEFORE DTT was introduced? If yes, then any improvement on analog FOTA will make it easier for DTT to be successful. But not payt schemes that look like poor man's cable.

For example most if not all Qualcomm's Mediaflow will be
FTA within two years of starting service.

TV to cell phones still has to prove itself. I wouldn't pretend like it's a slam dunk.
