With the exception of the Office Specialist, all of Linn County ITS staff are
confidential and non-union. Our 7 staff members all have received security
checks and have access to all data stored on ITS servers. The Sheriff's Office
and Health operate their own servers.

Are there any organizations (state, county, or city) in the
state whose IS employees are considered "confidential" employees for the sake
of collective bargaining? I'd be interested in hearing from any of you who have
dealt with this issue.
