I'm also quite amazed with the age statistic Isaac said. I remember in
2002 when I learned about and started getting newspapers I was 16. OK
at that time I mainly was most interested in football and celebrities
so I was mostly reading The Sun, but I'm amazed with the statistics
how few young people are members? Maybe its just because in those days
with a dial-up internet which was charged per minute I couldn't read
online and so was very happy to get and read things offline, also
there was no portable internet access so it was brilliant driving to
school and being able to read all the gossyp, but I find it quite
tragic that young people just aren't subscribing? Is it because
there's so much free info out there, or is it because there's not much
of an interest in reading among younger blind people? Although you
also have much better radio there so maybe they think that's all they
need to get info from.
